eSHa 2000 is eSHa Labs' historic medication, formulated in the Netherlands to treat the main bacterial, fungal, and certain parasitic diseases of freshwater fish all at once. The formula targets over 18 common ailments: fin rot (Columnaris), saprolegniasis (white filamentous fungus), ulcers and sores, gill disease, bacterial eye diseases, dropsy, shimmying, neon tetra disease, early white spots, post-transport trauma, and opportunistic stress-related infections.
eSHa 2000 acts on Gram + and Gram – bacteria, on mycoses (Saprolegnia, Achlya), and on surface protozoa. It works in synergy with eSHa EXIT and eSHa HEXAMITA for combined treatments.
⚡ Dosage and standard treatment
The standard treatment lasts 3 consecutive days, at a rate of 25 drops per 100 L once a day. The 20 ml bottle is sufficient to treat up to 800 L (4 treatments of 200 L). The 180 ml bottle can treat up to 7,200 L total capacity. Visible recovery occurs between the 5th and 10th day.
For stubborn cases, the treatment can be extended by 2 to 3 days. Always shake the bottle well before use.
🛡️ Safety and compatibility
Very well tolerated by aquatic plants and the biological filter. Compatible with adult shrimp but dangerous for snails : remove Neritina, Planorbis, and Apple snails.
Remove activated carbon, absorbent resins, UV, and oxidizers 24 hours before day 1.
