Sustainable e-commerce

Finally, we are building the most sustainable e-commerce model possible, aligned with our values and those of aquaponics. We work mainly with French and European suppliers, we reuse cardboard boxes that have already been used for our shipments, and we will soon be committing to the protection of endangered aquatic species.

Producing locally, saving resources, learning to better understand living nature: aquaponics brings all of this together in a single smart and sustainable system. From passionate individuals to schools and local authorities, we believe everyone should be able to grow their own fruit, vegetables and herbs, and know how to do so, while respecting natural balances.

This is the vision of resilient, local, educational and responsible agriculture that we stand for. And it is also what we want to share, by democratizing a new way of growing, more autonomous, more conscious… and deeply rooted in living nature.

Aquaponics on a large scale

Univers Aquaponie is part of the Aquaponeasy group. The group is developing a genuine ecosystem around aquaponics: home aquaponics with Univers Aquaponie, and a large-scale aquaponic farm project under the Aquaponeasy brand.

Its pilot farm is under development in Vic-sur-Seille, in Moselle. The goal: to produce 60 tonnes of fish per year and around forty tonnes of fruit and vegetables, then to roll this model out elsewhere in France and Europe. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027.

Univers Aquaponie is its home-scale counterpart: the same conviction and the same know-how, made accessible to everyone, at home, on the balcony or in the garden.

Our commitments

At Univers Aquaponie, we do everything we can to build a sustainable e-commerce model.

This means optimized and responsible shipping of your orders, reused packaging and funding for environmental protection activities.

Reusable packaging
We work with a cardboard reuse specialist to give a second life to boxes that have already been used. So don't be surprised if a few bits of tape are left on your parcel.

French and European products in the spotlight
At Univers Aquaponie, we have decided to put French and European companies in the spotlight. Choosing us to get started in aquaponics means choosing to create lasting business and jobs in France and Europe.

1% for our fish conservation project
We are currently developing a conservation center for freshwater fish. Its goal: to help safeguard endangered species and reintroduce them to their natural habitat. First phase of the project in 2027.
