🏗️ Three formats for all projects
The vertical hydroponic tower is available in three modular configurations to suit every space and production level : 5 levels (105 cm), 7 levels (135 cm), and 11 levels (195 cm), with a capacity of 20, 28, or 44 plants depending on the chosen model. All share the same stable 53 cm diameter base, designed to ensure solid balance even at maximum height. The tubular structure made of food-grade white ABS plastic is durably resistant to the constant humidity of a soilless environment, without leaching harmful substances. Its elegant and sleek silhouette fits equally well in an aquaponic greenhouse, a bright indoor space, or on a sunny balcony. The verticality of the concept optimizes every available square centimeter, whereas a traditional gardening bed with the same footprint would only accommodate 4 to 6 plants.
💧 Closed-loop gravity irrigation
The operation relies on a simple and proven principle : a submersible pump (not included in the package) conveys the nutrient solution from the base reservoir to the top of the tower, from where it flows naturally from level to level before returning to the reservoir for a new cycle. This closed circuit ensures a homogeneous distribution of water and minerals to each plant, without stagnation or loss. Water consumption is reduced by 90% compared to a conventional garden, as the solution is continuously recycled. In aquaponics, the base reservoir can be directly fed by fish tank effluent, transforming the tower into a productive link in a complete circular ecosystem. Adding an electric timer allows for automated watering cycles and optimized pump energy consumption.
🥬 Compatible with a wide variety of crops
The outward-facing conical cells accommodate a wide variety of short-cycle plants : lettuces, spinach, arugula, lamb's lettuce, basil, parsley, chives, cilantro, and strawberries thrive in optimal conditions. The roots are protected from excessive light exposure by the opaque tubular structure, which naturally limits algae development in the substrate. Expanded clay pebbles (4-8 mm size) and coir are the most suitable substrates for this type of system. In aquaponics, leafy greens are particularly effective at assimilating nitrates from fish effluent, thus contributing to the natural regulation of water quality.
🔧 Tool-free assembly, simplified maintenance
The modules simply stack on top of each other, without screws or special tools, for complete assembly in 15 to 20 minutes depending on the chosen format. Disassembly is just as quick, making end-of-cycle cleaning easy : a rinse with clear water and light disinfection with white vinegar of the modules and reservoir are sufficient to prepare the tower for a new production cycle. The modularity of the system also allows starting with the 5-level version and upgrading to a larger format if needed. For the 11-level model, it is advisable to lean the tower against a wall or vertical support to secure the assembly, especially in ventilated areas.
🌞 Indoor, outdoor, or greenhouse : total flexibility
The tower adapts to all growing environments : indoors with a full-spectrum LED light, outdoors in fair weather, or in a heated aquaponic greenhouse for uninterrupted production all year round. Its resistance to constant humidity makes it perfectly suited for greenhouses, where humidity variations are significant. Below 5°C, it is recommended to bring the tower indoors or heat the growing space to maintain plant activity. The compactness of its base (53 cm in diameter) also makes it an ideal solution for optimizing production density in an aquaponic greenhouse, by multiplying columns on the same surface area.
📦 Delivery contents
Each tower is delivered with the growing modules (5, 7, or 11 depending on the model), the sage green base reservoir, a green germination tray, and a black cell germination plate. The submersible pump is sold separately : plan for 200-400 L/h for 5 levels, 400-600 L/h for 7 levels, and 600-800 L/h with a head height ≥ 2 m for 11 levels.
