eSHa OPTIMA : the water conditioner that boosts fish immunity
eSHa OPTIMA is a weekly or daily supplement based on plant extracts, vitamins and trace elements that stimulates the natural defences of freshwater aquarium fish. Used after every water change, it acts both as a conditioner (protecting the mucus layer) and as a general tonic.
🌿 A natural formula with plant extracts
The OPTIMA formula combines several extracts of medicinal plants known in fishkeeping for their immune-stimulating and mild antiseptic properties, complemented by a complex of vitamins (B1, B6, B12, C, E) and trace elements (zinc, selenium, iron). It strengthens the mucus barrier that protects fish from opportunistic bacterial infections.
Unlike conventional conditioners that merely neutralise chlorine, OPTIMA works deep within the fish's physiology : better nutrient absorption, reduced stress, more intense colours and support for breeding.
⚡ Dosage and frequency
The standard dosage is 20 drops per 100 L once a week, preferably right after the weekly water change. For a cure following medical treatment or for stressed fish (transport, relocation), you can switch to a daily dose for 5 to 7 days.
The 20 ml bottle treats up to 2,000 L at the standard dosage, around 20 months of weekly use for a 100 L tank. Excellent value for money.
🛡️ Safety and compatibility
OPTIMA is safe for all tank inhabitants: freshwater fish (tropical and coldwater), shrimp (Neocaridina, Caridina), snails, mussels, frogs, aquatic plants and the biological filter. It is a product with very wide therapeutic margins.
Do not use in marine water. As with all eSHa products, remove activated carbon and absorbent resins 24 h before application to preserve effectiveness.

🛠️ Practical guide
Application : apply right after the weekly water change, in the filter's current zone. Shake well before use.
Typical use : permanent maintenance cure at one dose per week. Intensive cure (1 dose/day for 5 days) after illness, transport or the introduction of new fish.
Mistakes to avoid : do not combine with another brand, do not use it as a substitute for an active treatment during a declared illness.
Maintenance : a natural sediment may form at the bottom of the bottle : this is normal (no artificial preservatives) and it dissolves in the aquarium.
