🌱 A stylish sprouting tray, designed for the home
This sprouting tray is much more than just a simple germination container : it's a stylish, modern design object. Its rounded shape, understated colors (ivory, coffee, etc.), and slightly textured matte finish allow it to fit perfectly in a contemporary kitchen, on a balcony, or in a mini garden greenhouse. Its refined aesthetic makes it an ideal gift, or a beautiful addition to any kitchen.
🔄 The 2-in-1 principle
The germinator consists of two 16 cm diameter germination cups that fit together in a single collection tray. This 2-in-1 design allows you to start two crops simultaneously or at different times, ensuring you always have sprouts ready to harvest. The Regrow option also allows you to regrow some sprouts after the first cutting, simply by placing the tray back in contact with water, thus extending the lifespan of each seedling and reducing seed consumption.
💧 Three growing methods : water, perlan or gel
This germinator is compatible with three germination methods depending on the seeds and preferences :
- Water culture : the surface tray is placed on water in the collector, the roots draw moisture by contact.
- Culture with perlan : (compostable cellulose fiber) : ideal for small seeds, it maintains regular moisture over the entire surface.
- Culture with absorbent gel : (potassium-based, food contact certified) : perfect for seedlings that require constant and controlled moisture.
This versatility allows the germinator to be adapted to a wide range of seeds, from rocket to radish, including broccoli or sunflower.
🌿 Easy to use, harvest in 6 to 10 days
Getting started is quick and easy : simply place about 5g of seeds (one level teaspoon) on the moistened tray, cover with the provided lid for 48 hours to create a microclimate, then expose to natural light. The ideal growing temperature is between 18 and 24°C. The microgreens are ready to harvest in 6 to 10 days ; cut 1cm above the seeds for optimal preservation. The short cycle and ease of restarting make this one of the most efficient sprouters on the market.
🍽️ In the kitchen : freshness and precision
The microgreens grown in this sprouting tray naturally enhance everyday dishes. A handful of arugula, radish, or red cabbage sprouts can transform a simple salad, scrambled eggs, or fish tartare into an elegant and nutritious meal. For those who appreciate local produce, these fresh sprouts also provide a natural and flavorful complement to vegetables and fish grown using aquaponics, adding color, texture, and aromatic intensity to the finished dish.
