The AMTRA cleaning bell is a manual maintenance accessory designed to clean the bottom of your aquarium (gravel, sand) without excessively disturbing the decor or inhabitants. By placing the bell in the water and combining it with a siphon or hose, it facilitates the suction of debris, sludge, and organic particles that accumulate between the substrate grains, while leaving the heavier gravel in place.

Each variant works on the same simple principle: when submerged and ready to siphon, it sucks up water and impurities through the top of the bell, carrying waste out of the bin without sucking up the gravel.
