Description

ARKA myAqua high-capacity RO system : pure water for large volumes

The ARKA myAqua high-capacity reverse osmosis (RO) systems produce large volumes of ultra-pure water for big reef aquariums, professional installations and aquaponics. They remove up to 99% of salts, nitrates, phosphates, heavy metals and bacteria, by water pressure alone and without any chemical additive.

Made by ARKA (Germany), they come in three flow rates (1900, 3000 and 3800 L/day) with a very efficient pure water / waste water ratio, up to 1:1 on the largest models.

⚙️ Which capacity to choose ?

  • 1900 L/day: multi-stage system for large aquariums and sustained use, efficient ratio (1:1 to 1:1.5)
  • 3000 L/day (3000H): high-performance version with built-in booster pump, ideal for low pressure and very large volumes
  • 3800 L/day: maximum flow rate for professional installations, ratio up to 1:1 and automatic shut-off

Choose according to the volume of pure water you need each day and the pressure available on your mains (the 3000H model includes a pump to compensate for low pressure).

💧 How reverse osmosis works

Water passes through a sediment filter, an activated carbon filter and then a reverse osmosis membrane with microscopic pores that block almost all dissolved salts and pollutants. You get RO water that is perfect for preparing stable saltwater, filling a large sensitive tank or feeding an aquaponic system without nitrates or phosphates.

🪸 Designed for reef tanks and demanding installations

A large reef tank uses a lot of RO water for water changes and to compensate for evaporation. These high-capacity models supply this volume quickly, with an optimised ratio that limits waste water. The waste water, which is unpolluted, can be used for watering or cleaning.

📊 Technical specifications

  • Brand: ARKA (Germany)
  • Type: high-capacity reverse osmosis system
  • Available flow rates: 1900, 3000 (with pump) and 3800 L/day
  • Salt rejection: up to 99%
  • Ratio: up to 1:1 (pure water / waste water)
  • Filtration stages: sediment + activated carbon + reverse osmosis membrane
  • Safety: automatic production shut-off on the relevant models
  • Country of origin: Germany

🧰 Installation and maintenance

Installation: connect the RO system to a cold water supply with the supplied adapter, direct the pure water to your reservoir and the waste water to the drain. The 3000H model plugs into mains power for its booster pump.

Maintenance: replace the sediment and carbon filters every 6 to 12 months, and the membrane every 2 to 3 years depending on use. Monitor the quality of the water produced with a TDS meter.

Why choose the ARKA myAqua high-capacity RO system

Powerful, water-efficient and reliable, these ARKA RO systems deliver large volumes of pure water for demanding aquarists and professional installations. Three flow rates to choose from and German ARKA quality for perfectly controlled water, on a large scale.
