🧪 Elimination of microorganisms by UV-C

Reeflex UV replacement UV-C tubes are ultraviolet radiation tubes designed to replace the lamps in EHEIM's Reeflex range of UV sterilizers. They emit UV-C light that acts on microorganisms in water by disrupting their DNA, helping to reduce suspended bacteria, viruses, spores, and algae. For optimal performance, these bulbs should be replaced approximately once a year, as their germicidal power diminishes over time.

📏 Different power levels for different models

Depending on the sterilizer model, several tube power ratings are available :

• 7 W : for Reeflex UV 350 models, suitable for aquariums up to approximately 350 L.
  
• 9 W : for Reeflex UV 500 models, designed for volumes up to approximately 500 L.
  
• 11 W : for Reeflex UV 800 models, compatible with tanks up to 800 L.
  
• 18 W : for Reeflex UV 1500 models (higher power for larger volumes).
  
• 24 W : for Reeflex UV 2000 models, intended for large aquariums or technical installations.
  

Each tube is designed with a base adapted to the corresponding model (often 2G7 / G23 depending on the version), which guarantees a simple and safe replacement.

🔒 Safety of use

UV-C lamps are dangerous to the eyes and skin if exposed directly. That's why Reeflex sterilizers incorporate safety systems that prevent the lamp from turning on if the casing is not properly closed. The UV lamps only operate when the unit is fully assembled.
