Iron is an absolutely essential nutrient for plant health and growth. It plays a key role in the photosynthesis process, making it essential for vibrant green foliage, consistent growth, and vigorous crops. In aquaponic systems, iron deficiencies are common, especially when the pH is high, which naturally blocks the uptake of micronutrients by the roots.

Our 6% EDDHA chelated iron, enriched with humic acids, is specially formulated for aquaponics. It allows immediate absorption of iron by plants, even in the most alkaline environments, up to a pH of 11, without ever disturbing the system's balance. This product is completely water-soluble, perfectly stable to light and UV rays, and has no impact on the pH value of your pond. It is also completely harmless to fish and nitrifying bacteria.

Its natural chelating action releases blocked microelements, improving nutrient availability in the water. The humic acids it contains simultaneously stimulate the biological activity of the system, promoting more dynamic root development and better plant resistance to external stresses.

After application, your system's water will take on a reddish color for a few days, a completely normal phenomenon linked to the presence of EDDHA iron. It is completely harmless and gradually fades without harming the balance of your ecosystem.

We recommend maintaining an iron level between 2 and 3 mg/L. For a 1000-liter system, this corresponds to approximately 20 to 30 grams every three weeks. In cases of severe deficiency, foliar application is also possible for rapid and targeted correction.
