The Mega Filtra series is a range of high-performance external filters designed to provide complete and efficient filtration : mechanical (removal of visible particles), chemical (activated carbon and zeolite to remove pollutants), and biological (ceramic media for nitrifying bacteria). They are suitable for both freshwater aquariums and marine ponds.
💪 Models adapted to different volumes
Depending on the size of your aquarium and your requirements for water circulation and filtration capacity, the Mega Filtra range offers several options :
- Sicce Mega Filtra 650 External Aquarium Filter : Flow rate of approximately 1450 L/h, ideal for aquariums up to ~650 L.
- External filter Sicce Mega Filtra 950 : Flow rate of approximately 2150 L/h, suitable for aquariums up to ~950 L.
- Sicce Mega Filtra 950 SDC Canister Filter : High-end version with Wi-Fi control
Each model is supplied with a complete set of filter media (sponges, zeolite, activated carbon, biological media) to be operational from the first installation.

These external filters can be integrated into aquaponic systems where high mechanical and biological filtration capacity is required. They help stabilize water quality in conjunction with a primary biofilter, particularly in densely stocked or planted systems.
