🏆 German reliability at the service of your fish
No more asking your neighbors to feed your fish. Whether you're going away for a weekend or a three-week vacation, the EHEIM 3581 manages your aquarium's feeding with clockwork precision.
It's the world's best-selling dispenser, and for good reason. Unlike lower-end models that clog easily, it incorporates essential patented technology :
The Active Ventilation System : The number one enemy of dry food is the humidity rising from the aquarium.
On this model, a mini-fan activates with each rotation to blow fresh air into the tank.
Result : The flakes don't stick together, the pellets don't mold. The food stays crunchy and the portion size remains consistent from the first day to the last.
⚙️ Key Features & Programming
- Flexible Programming : Configure up to 4 meals per day.
- "Double Turn" option : For each feeding, you can activate a double dispensing function (the drum rotates, waits 1 minute, then rotates again). This is ideal for allowing timid fish to eat once the more voracious ones have had their fill.
- Snack Button : A simple press is all it takes to give a manual dose at any time, without disrupting your programming.
- Universal Mounting (All Inclusive) : Closed Aquarium (Gallery) : Simply place it on the hatch (non-slip feet and Velcro included). Open Aquarium (Bare Tank) : Use the sturdy clamp to attach it to the side glass (glass up to 20mm).

💡 Our Tips
Food choices :
The EHEIM 3581 accepts all types of grit, but for absolute long-term reliability, use granules (such as Eheim Gran or JBL Grana). They flow better. If you use flakes, crumble them lightly between your fingers before filling to avoid clumps.
Dosage adjustment (The Slider) :
The drum has a sliding opening.
⚠️ Important : Do not place it directly on the water! First, test it over a sheet of white paper. Adjust the opening until you obtain the desired amount.
Positioning :
Install the dispenser as far away as possible from the filter outlet (water discharge) and the aerator. Even if it is ventilated, avoiding direct splashing will prolong the life of the batteries and the food.
