🌿 Reconnect with your food, with Gérladine
There's something profoundly satisfying about picking a sprig of basil or a handful of salad you've grown yourself, in a system you've built with your own hands. The Geraldine Garden Pond is designed to make this experience accessible, without prior expertise or excessive investment. Fish and plants live in symbiosis within a closed-loop system : fish waste naturally fertilizes the vegetables, and the vegetables purify the water that returns to the fish. No chemical fertilizers, no manual watering, no pesticides. Just a self-regulating ecosystem, with your garden as its backdrop.
🐟 Two formats for two ambitions
Geraldine 1 : To get off to a good start
With a 1 m² tank (380 L) and 1 m² growing area on 210 L of clay pebbles, this setup is the ideal starting point for a couple, a family, or a small garden. It allows you to get to grips with aquaponics on a manageable scale, observe the balance developing, understand the biological cycles, and harvest the first fresh leaves before considering a larger system.
Geraldine 5 : To take things to the next level
Double the growing area (2 m² on 420 L of clay pebbles), same 380 L basin. This model allows for more ambitious crop rotations : leafy greens, strawberries, peppers, cherry tomatoes. An entire family can find a regular supplementary harvest, picked close at hand, without intermediaries.
The dimensions remain reasonable in both cases :
- Geraldine 1 : 193 × 118 × 92 cm
- Geraldine 5 : 218 × 192 × 92 cm
🛠️ All-inclusive, ready to assemble
This is one of Géraldine's great advantages : nothing to add, nothing to look for elsewhere. Each kit arrives complete, with everything needed to start on the day of delivery.
- Structure made of treated solid pine, integrated watertight tanks
- Circulation pump with 10m cable
- Complete piping and fittings
- Automatic siphon for easy seasonal emptying
- Clay pebbles (210 L for 1, 420 L for 5)
- Water conditioner and nitrifying bacteria to initiate the balance
Assembly requires no special tools and takes 2 to 4 hours. The included bacteria accelerate colonization of the biological filter: allow 3 to 4 weeks for the ecosystem to be fully balanced and production to begin.
🌱 A tool as much as a garden
Watching the roots gradually colonize the clay pebbles, observing the fish's growth, understanding why a plant grows twice as fast in aquaponics as in open ground : Géraldine is a fantastic educational tool for children and curious adults alike. It fits perfectly into a school, a community garden, or an environmental education project. And for more experienced gardeners, it's a concrete starting point for a path to food self-sufficiency : modest in volume, but truly satisfying.
♻️ Made in France, designed to last
The solid pine used for the structure is sourced in France and treated to withstand the elements season after season. The clay pebbles are infinitely reusable, and the automatic siphon simplifies maintenance and emptying without complicated procedures. Electricity and water consumption are intentionally limited for a system designed for longevity ; not an investment to be renewed every year, but a garden companion that increases in value over time.
