Natural biostimulant for rooting seedlings, cuttings, and repotted plants

A cutting has no roots, a seedling has only a few millimetres of them, and a repotted plant must colonise a fresh grow medium. During these first few days, while the root system is still limited, the plant absorbs little water and few nutrients, regardless of how good your solution is. This liquid root stimulant is designed precisely for this rooting phase. Add it to your irrigation water or nutrient solution for 2 weeks, then return to your usual programme.

🌿 A rooting biostimulant

This product does not feed the plant in the strict sense: it does not supply any meaningful quantity of nitrogen, phosphorus, or potassium, and therefore does not replace your fertiliser. It is a biostimulant, compliant with Decree No. 2016-532 governing natural substances used as biostimulants, composed of vitamins, enzymes, and humic acids, together with natural amino acids and plant extracts. Its role is to encourage faster and denser root development. It should therefore be used in addition to a complete nutritional programme, not instead of one.

On seedlings

As soon as the first roots appear, water your pots or seedling cubes with water dosed at 5 ml per litre.

On cuttings

The product is poured into the propagator's reservoir, where the misted solution keeps the base of the cuttings moist throughout root formation.

When repotting

A repotted plant recovers more quickly when watered with the solution during the 2 weeks that follow.

💧 Dosage by growth stage

At the first roots, the dose is 5 ml per litre, whether in hydroponics, coco fibre, or soil. Once the first true leaves appear, reduce this to 3 ml per litre, then stop applications after approximately 14 days, once the plant is well established. For a 20-litre propagator, that means 100 ml at the start. The product can also be applied as a foliar spray at 3 ml per litre. At this rate, a 500 ml bottle prepares 100 litres of solution, the 5-litre container prepares 1,000 litres, and the 10-litre container prepares 2,000 litres.

Starting cuttings in a hydroponic propagator

Cuttings root more consistently when their base receives a continuous supply of oxygenated solution. The HydroCloner propagator holds 27 or 72 stems in neoprene discs above a constantly misted solution. Add the root stimulator to the reservoir as soon as the cuttings are in place, at 5 ml per litre, then reduce to 3 ml per litre once the first true leaves appear.

Measure conductivity after pH

Add the stimulator to the solution, adjust the pH to between 5.5 and 6.5, then measure the conductivity last, as this final value is what matters for your young roots. When spraying, keep the solution highly diluted and avoid treating during flowering. Always shake the bottle before use, as part of the product may settle at the bottom.

🧪 Which products to combine it with

The stimulant works with all types of fertiliser and on all grow media. For an organically managed crop, it complements soil micro-organisms well: Trichoderma TrikoLogic colonises the root zone that the biostimulant helps to develop. In hydroponics, check your solution with the drop pH test after each addition, as the concentrate is acidic, at pH 4. Once the rooting phase is complete, simply switch to your growth fertiliser.

📦 Formats, shelf life and storage

The product is available in 500 ml and 1-litre bottles, and in 5- and 10-litre containers for larger growing operations. It comes as a dark brown liquid with a slightly sulphurous odour, fully soluble in water. It has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture when stored cool, dry, and in its sealed original packaging, away from heat and temperatures below 5 °C. Its safety data sheet does not classify it as hazardous.

Ready to use or concentrated?

Both are used during the first 15 days of a seedling, cutting or repotting. The first is dosed by the glass, the second by the drop.

Can't decide between the two versions? One is measured with a jug, the other with a syringe. Three questions are enough to decide.
