Designed for continuous operation, Eheim Air aerators combine low power consumption with a constant airflow. In summer, when water temperatures rise and dissolved oxygen levels decrease, they reduce stress on fish and prevent biological imbalances. In winter, they help maintain gas exchange below the surface, which is particularly beneficial in partially frozen or poorly circulated ponds.

The Air 500 model, with an air flow rate of approximately 540 L/h, is suitable for small to medium-sized ponds, large aquariums, or home aquaponic systems. It is generally suitable for volumes up to 5,000 to 10,000 liters, depending on the fish density and the desired oxygenation level.
The more powerful Air 1000 model delivers an air flow of approximately 1,000 L/h and higher pressure, allowing for more effective diffusion at greater depths. It is recommended for larger ponds, water features with a higher biological load, or aquaponic systems requiring increased oxygenation. It is particularly suitable when the depth exceeds 60 to 80 cm or when multiple diffusers are used simultaneously.

The aerators are delivered ready to use with two air outlets, aeration stones, long-distance tubing, and check valves, allowing for flexible and secure installation. For optimal efficiency, it is recommended to position the diffusers in at least 30 cm of water, slightly above the bottom to avoid stirring up sediment. The aerator must be placed out of the water, away from direct splashes, while respecting the maximum diffusion height indicated.
