-50% on a selection of fish food
An aquarium food should be chosen according to the size of the fish and the level of the tank where they feed. Flakes suit surface and mid-water fish: JBL ProNovo Bel Flakes M are intended for fish of 8 to 20 cm, fed 1 to 2 times a day. Granules sink slowly and come in a mini version for small fish and shrimp; tablets stick to the glass or sink to the bottom for bottom-dwelling fish. There are also formulas aimed at cichlids, guppies, goldfish and carnivores.
For fry, liquid food is suitable from 2 to 5 mm and powder from 5 to 20 mm, in 3 to 4 feeds a day. Artemia nauplii can also be raised at home: with the Hobby hatching kit, they hatch in 24 to 36 hours at 24 °C, in salt water at 32 g per litre. While you are away, an automatic feeder dispenses up to 4 meals a day while keeping the food dry. For goldfish, the article Goldfish in aquaponics also goes into feeding in detail.
