🏗️ Architecture and Spatial Optimization
This vertical hydroponic tower is moulded from high-quality polypropylene (PP). This technical polymer offers excellent impact resistance and complete food safety for edible crops, with no risk of corrosion from fertilisers.
Spatial optimisation is the true strength of this system. The structure rises to a height of 115 cm with a footprint strictly limited to the dimensions of the reservoir (25 x 25 cm). It concentrates 45 growing slots into a surface area of just 0.06 m². Each planting cavity measures exactly 52 x 33 mm a standardised size designed to hold the supplied growing sponges securely in place.
💧 Fluid Dynamics and Electromechanics
The heart of the system is an ultra-low-consumption continuous DC Brushless water pump. Drawing only 4.5 W (300 mA), it delivers a constant flow rate of 240 litres per hour (63.4 Gal/H).
The mains power supply (95–245 V) is converted to 12 V DC. This low voltage eliminates any risk of electric shock in a humid environment. The pump also features an IPX8 waterproof rating.
Capable of an impressive head height of 300 cm, it effortlessly propels water to the top of the tower. The solution then flows back down by gravity through an internal stepped design ("Scalloped Water Diversion") that breaks up and oxygenates the flow at each level.
♻️ Water Management and Autonomy
The system operates in a closed loop, drastically reducing evaporation and water waste. The base reservoir offers a usable volume of 10 litres (2.64 gallons). At full plant capacity, this reserve gives the system an average water autonomy of 15 days, allowing the grower to step away with complete peace of mind.
An integrated front-facing water level gauge enables instant visual monitoring. Water adjustment or nutrient solution top-up can be carried out cleanly and without any disassembly, thanks to the included leak-proof funnel.
🌱 Integrated Germination Protocol
The kit includes all the necessary materials to start your seedlings outside the tower. Priming requires soaking the seeds (not included) in water for 10 hours. Seeds are then placed on moist sponges in a seedling tray. An absorbent cloth covers the whole tray to saturate humidity during the first 48 hours (darkness phase).
Exposure to natural or horticultural lighting begins as soon as the first sprouts appear. Final transfer into the 45 slots of the tower should only take place once the seedlings are vigorous and well established.
