-50% on a selection of fish food
An aquaponics kit combines a fish tank, a growing area and the circuit that connects them. Choose it according to the space available, the type of fish and the output you are aiming for. To start out with ornamental fish, the Naps kit combines a 500 L tank and 1 m² of growing space on 100 × 100 cm, assembled without tools. The Géraldine kit pairs a 380 L tank with a vegetable bed of 1 or 2 m², at a working height of 92 cm.
For raising fish for the table, the in-ground kit, with two 500 or 1,000 L tanks linked by an airlift, is designed for trout, brook trout and perch; the Symbiose kit brings together 1,600 L of water and 3 m² of growing space on a 4.30 × 1.30 m bench. The MyFarm greenhouse kit pairs a 400 to 800 L tank with 6 or 12 vertical towers, for a stated output of up to 200 to 300 kg per year. Bear the load in mind: a 500 L tank weighs more than half a tonne once filled. The article Outdoor aquaponics greenhouses and kits will help you decide.
