This liquid concentrated nettle feed is produced by natural fermentation of nettles. It supplies nitrogen, iron, silica, potassium and magnesium, and is diluted at 30 ml per litre for watering or at 20 ml per litre for foliar spraying.
It is suitable for organic growing, both indoors and in the garden.

Fermented nettle liquid feed, ready to dilute, for watering and foliar spraying in the kitchen garden
Nettle liquid fertiliser is one of the oldest kitchen garden tonics: nettles left to ferment in water release the nutrients they have accumulated. This one is produced on a large scale and delivered in concentrated form, saving you several weeks of steeping and the smell of a bucket at the bottom of the garden. Simply dilute it in a watering can or pressure sprayer at the time of application. It can be used on all crops, from freshly transplanted seedlings right through to vegetables in full production.
🌿 What the liquid feed contains
Nettle is a demanding plant that concentrates nitrogen, iron, silica, potassium, magnesium and trace elements in its tissues. Fermentation breaks down its leaves and makes these elements soluble, so they can be taken up directly by the roots or the foliage. The product therefore acts both as a supplementary fertiliser rich in nitrogen and as a source of iron, making it useful when your plants show pale foliage. Its pH, between 5 and 6, suits most tap water.
Supplement the liquid feed with a complete fertiliser
Nettle liquid fertiliser provides mainly nitrogen and iron, but little phosphorus. For a crop grown through to harvest, it supplements the organic growth fertiliser, then the organic flowering fertiliser once the first flowers appear. Both remain suitable for use in organic cultivation, as does the nettle feed.
💧 Dilute and apply
For watering, dilute 30 ml of product per litre of water, that is 300 ml for a 10-litre watering can, and pour the solution at the base of the plants or into your irrigation system. For foliar spraying, the dose drops to 20 ml per litre, applied to dry foliage outside the hottest hours of the day. The first application is made at planting, then repeat every 10 days throughout the growing period. Stop applications 7 days before harvesting any vegetables intended for consumption.
Rinse all equipment after each use
A plant tea remains a fermented organic material that leaves deposits. Rinse your sprayer and its nozzle with clean water after each application, otherwise the nozzle will block. In a drip system, follow the application with a flush of clean water. The product retains a strong nettle smell, which becomes less noticeable once diluted.
500 ml bottle
It makes up approximately 16 litres of irrigation solution or 25 litres of foliar spray, enough to manage a few beds.
1 L bottle
It prepares 33 litres of feed solution, three generously filled 10-litre watering cans.
5 L container
It prepares approximately 166 litres of feed water for a vegetable plot or greenhouse throughout the entire season.
🪴 In pots, in a greenhouse, in the garden
This product works indoors and outdoors, and with any grow medium. In a pot, add it to the watering water alongside a compost such as Light-Mix peat-free compost, gradually boosting its fertility over the weeks. In the kitchen garden, apply it at the base of tomatoes, courgettes, and cabbages, all heavy nitrogen feeders. Keep for up to 2 years in a closed bottle, stored between 5 and 30 °C.
