Copper-free liquid treatment that clears green pond water in a few days
Pond water that turns green does not contain dirt in the strict sense: it is loaded with billions of suspended single-celled algae, which multiply as soon as light, warmth and nutrients come together. This liquid treatment acts on these floating algae, the ones that cloud the water of your pond, and destroys them within a few days. It contains no copper and, used at the stated dose, it poses no danger to your fish or to the pond plants, which stay in place during the treatment.
💧 A treatment in two doses
The treatment is carried out in two identical doses, 24 hours apart. Each dose is 25 ml per 1,000 litres of water: for a 3,000-litre pond, you therefore add 75 ml on the first morning, then 75 ml the next day. Measure the dose with the dosing cap, mix it in a watering can filled with pond water, then spread it over the whole surface. Always treat in the morning, because the pH of a pond overrun with algae rises over the course of the day, and a high pH reduces the effectiveness of the product.

The dose diluted in the pond water spreads across the whole surface with no concentrated patch.

Switch off the UV-C lamp during treatment
If your pond is fitted with a UV-C clarifier, switch it off for a week from the first application, then switch it back on. Do not combine this product with another anti-algae treatment: to change products, wait 14 days, change at least half of the water and filter through activated carbon. The product is toxic to aquatic organisms at high doses, so it must never be discharged into a watercourse or a ditch.
Remove dead algae and phosphate
Dead algae break down and release the nutrients they contained, including the phosphate that will feed the next bloom. After the treatment, the anti-phosphate pond treatment binds this dissolved fraction and deprives the algae of their fertiliser. Combined with cleaning the filter foams, it clearly spaces out the returns of green water.
☀️ Why the water turns green again
Floating algae feed mainly on phosphate and nitrate, supplied by your fish's food, leaves and pollen. A shallow pond exposed to full sun also gives them warmth and light, so the water turns green every spring if nothing changes. The treatment resolves the crisis, but you avoid the next one by tackling the causes: an adjusted ration, plants that consume the nutrients, shade over part of the surface and well-maintained filtration. 🌱 In aquaponics
