This pack contains two liquid organic fertilisers, one for growth and one for flowering, and four biostimulants, all in 1 L bottles and suitable for organic farming. It covers the full cycle of your crops, in soil, on coco fibre and in bioponics.
The summary
- What you receive: 2 liquid organic fertilisers and 4 biostimulants, six 1 L bottles.
- The fertilisers: an NPK 3-1-5 for growth and an NPK 2-3-4 for flowering, of plant origin.
- The dose: 2 ml per litre at most for each fertiliser, which is one cap per 5 litres.
- In bioponics: micro-organisms need to be added at the start to break down the fertiliser.
- How to choose: the only organic pack in the range that also provides the nutrition.
- How it arrives: a parcel of about 7.4 kg, shipped from France.
Two liquid organic fertilisers and four biostimulants, from rooting to harvest
This pack brings together six 1 L bottles that cover the complete cycle of an organic crop, from the first rooting through to harvest. It combines two plant-based liquid fertilisers, one for growth and one for flowering, together with four biostimulants. All six are approved for organic growing and can be used in soil, in pots, on coco fibre or in bioponics, that is, hydroponics run with organic inputs. You therefore have complete nutrition and its supplements without having to put the range together yourself.
🌱 Two fertilisers for the whole cycle
The organic growth fertiliser has an NPK of 3-1-5 and feeds the vegetative phase, when the plant builds its stems and leaves. The organic bloom fertiliser, with an NPK of 2-3-4 and 1.7% magnesium oxide, takes over from pre-flowering, since the formation of flowers and fruit calls for more phosphorus. Both are 100% plant-based and highly concentrated: the maximum dose is 2 ml per litre, which works out at one capful for 5 litres of water in your watering can. These two bottles carry the "Universal Fertiliser" label and correspond to the formula sold under the name Pro Organic. Their organic matter is not directly available to plants, because it must first be broken down by the micro-organisms in the soil or grow medium.
The root stimulator
It combines vitamins, enzymes and humic acids to speed up the rooting of seedlings and cuttings.
The flowering booster
This Ascophyllum nodosum extract supports flowering and fruiting, from pre-flowering through to ripening.
Seaweed extract
Cold-pressed, it helps plants withstand cold, drought and wind, from the first leaves through to flowering.
Fulvic acid
It keeps the mineral elements in a soluble form, which improves their uptake by the roots.
🧫 Bioponics and its micro-organisms
In living soil, fungi and bacteria break down organic fertiliser and gradually release nutrients around the roots. In hydroponics or in fresh coco fibre, these organisms are absent at the start, and the fertiliser would largely go unused without them. So you add them yourself, as Trichoderma powder dosed at 0.1 g per litre, when you start the system. They then colonise the grow medium and the root zone, and the solution stabilises by itself within a pH range of 6.5 to 7. A sudden drop in pH most often signals a loss of micro-organisms, caused by an unsuitable temperature or an excess of nutrients.
Start the bioponics 2 days before planting
Do not plant into a freshly prepared organic solution. Start the system 2 days beforehand, with 0.5 ml per litre of each of the two fertilisers and the Trichoderma powder, so that the micro-organisms begin to break down the organic matter. Keep the solution moving at all times, as these organisms need oxygen.
A calcium and magnesium supplement for coco fibre
Coco fibre holds back the calcium and magnesium in the solution, and soft water supplies little of either. In both situations, a liquid calcium magnesium supplement may become necessary: on coco fibre, dose it at 1 to 1.5 ml per litre in your watering solution, and with reverse osmosis water at 2 ml per litre. This helps you avoid the deficiencies that appear on young leaves in full growth, even though the fertiliser is correctly dosed.
📈 Dosing by growth stage
Fertiliser doses increase with the size of the plant, then reverse at flowering. At the first roots stage, each fertiliser is dosed at 0.25 ml per litre, and at the first true leaves stage at 0.5 ml per litre. In full growth, the grow fertiliser goes up to 2 ml per litre and the bloom fertiliser is kept aside. At pre-flowering, you combine the two at 1 ml per litre each, then the bloom fertiliser is used alone at 2 ml per litre until ripening. In soil, the fertiliser is applied every other watering, and a watering with plain water each week prevents salts building up in pots that drain heavily.
Biostimulants slot into this schedule. The root stimulator is dosed at 5 ml per litre at the first roots, then at 3 ml per litre at the first leaves. Repeat it every 7 to 10 days in hydroponics, or every 10 to 15 days in soil, until the root mass is well established. Fulvic acid supports the plant at 2 ml per litre from the first roots to pre-flowering. Seaweed extract is added at 5 ml per litre from the first leaves until flowering. The bloom stimulator, finally, takes over at 5 ml per litre from pre-flowering to ripening, and can also be sprayed at 3 ml per litre on the foliage, once a week during pre-flowering. For your fruiting crops, the article on growing tomatoes details how to manage flowering.
🌡️ Temperature and pH
Organic nutrition depends on the activity of micro-organisms, and that activity depends first of all on temperature. For good results, keep the grow medium and the solution above 20 °C: below 15 °C at root level, the metabolism of the micro-organisms and of the roots slows markedly, and the fertiliser is broken down less well. In the garden, plant your vegetables in warmed soil and water with tepid water, for example water left out in the sun. As for pH, aim for 6.5 on coco fibre, with a tolerance of up to 7 in bioponics, and check it regularly with a drop test rather than correcting it blindly.
🧺 Six 1 L bottles
You receive the growth fertiliser, the bloom fertiliser, the root stimulator, the flowering stimulator, the cold-pressed seaweed extract and the fulvic acid, each in a 1 L bottle. Shake each bottle well before use, dilute each product separately in water, mix thoroughly, then clean your utensils between products. All six keep for 2 years, stored cool, dry and frost-free, upright in their original bottle. Yields differ from one bottle to the next: 500 litres of solution for each fertiliser at 2 ml per litre and for the fulvic acid, 200 litres for the seaweed extract and for each of the two stimulators, dosed at 5 ml per litre.
Take a 50-litre tank that is refreshed every week during peak growth. You add 100 ml of growth fertiliser, 100 ml of fulvic acid and 250 ml of seaweed extract. At that rate, the bottle of seaweed extract lasts 4 weeks, while the growth fertiliser and the fulvic acid last 10. In soil, where fertiliser is only applied every other watering and the doses in the early stages are low, the pack will see you through a full season on several dozen vegetable plants.
