1. Purpose

These terms of use (hereinafter the "Terms of Use") govern access to and use of the website www.univers-aquaponie.com, published by AQUAPONEASY FRANCE, which operates the Univers Aquaponie shop (hereinafter "Univers Aquaponie" or "we"). Purchases made on the website are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale. By browsing the website, you accept the Terms of Use.

2. Access to the website

The website can be accessed free of charge, apart from the cost of your own internet connection. We endeavour to keep it available at all times, but access may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance, updates or in the event of a technical problem with our hosting provider.

3. Customer account

You may create a customer account to track your orders and keep your details to hand. You undertake to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Your account login details are personal to you: please keep them confidential and let us know without delay if you think a third party has gained access to them.

You may request the deletion of your account at any time by writing to contact@univers-aquaponie.com. We may suspend or delete an account in the event of fraudulent use or use that breaches the Terms of Use, after informing you, except in urgent cases. Deleting an account does not affect any orders in progress or your rights in respect of past orders.

4. Use of the website

You undertake to use the website fairly and in accordance with the law. In particular, you must not disrupt its operation, introduce malicious software, extract its content in an automated or bulk manner, or use the website for any unlawful activity.

5. Content and technical advice

The product pages, guides, articles and advice published on the website are written with care to help you choose and use our products. They are provided as general information. They do not replace the manufacturer's instructions, labelling and safety guidance, which take precedence, nor the advice of a professional for a particular installation, for example an electrical circuit or a major structure. If you notice an error in any content, please let us know and we will correct it as soon as possible.

6. External links and affiliation

The website contains links to third-party websites. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Some books are shown with an affiliate link to the Amazon website. These books are not sold by Univers Aquaponie: the purchase is made with Amazon or the seller named on Amazon, under their terms. As an Amazon partner, Univers Aquaponie earns a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, videos, illustrations, logos, trade marks and structure of the website are protected by intellectual property law. They belong to AQUAPONEASY FRANCE or to third parties who have authorised their use. Any reproduction, performance or adaptation, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission is prohibited, except in the cases provided for by law, such as private copying or brief quotation with acknowledgement of the source.

8. Customer reviews

At present, the website does not allow reviews to be posted directly on a product page. Some product pages display reviews taken from a third-party platform. In such cases, the name of that platform and a link to its page are shown next to the reviews, together with the average rating and the total number of reviews as they appeared on the date they were collected.

We have not carried out any verification of these reviews to confirm that their authors bought or used the product. We present a selection, from the most recent to the oldest, without altering the text, and without any compensation being given to their authors. The original platform remains the sole source of all the reviews and of how they are checked.

9. Liability

We use reasonable means to ensure the proper operation and security of the website and the accuracy of its content. We are not liable for any damage resulting from use of the website in breach of the Terms of Use, from the actions of a third party or from an event of force majeure. These Terms of Use do not limit the rights you have under the law, in particular as a consumer.

11. Governing law

The Terms of Use are governed by French law. If you have a problem, please contact us first at contact@univers-aquaponie.com. If you are a consumer, you may use consumer mediation under the conditions set out in article 13 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale. Failing agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent court in accordance with the applicable legal rules.
