The Growrilla double-wall NFT gutter 10 × 8 cm is a 100 % Italian hydroponic channel, designed for Nutrient Film Technique systems. At 1,8 metres long, it holds 8 growing slots on a pre-drilled lid, ideal for starting or expanding a home system, in a greenhouse or indoors.

Its shallow film of water and continuous gravity flow constantly supply the plant roots with an oxygenated nutrient solution, without using costly substrate. NFT growing is one of the most water- and input-efficient techniques on the market.

🔒 Growrilla double-wall design

The Growrilla gutter stands out with a double-wall PVC design, which brings two major advantages : better mechanical rigidity of the profile (no deformation along the whole length, even when loaded with water and plants) and thermal insulation of the nutrient solution (more stable temperature, less sensitive to ambient variations). The pre-drilled lid is removable : take it off for a full cleaning of the channel between two growing cycles, then put it back.

🌱 Recommended crops

Ideal for salads (lettuce, batavia, romaine, oak leaf), herbs (basil, parsley, chives, mint), strawberries, as well as cherry tomatoes and peppers grown vertically with staking. For larger crops, choose a wider spacing between the pots.

🧰 Add-ons to plan for

To start your complete system, plan for 5 × 7 cm mesh pots (count 8 per gutter), end caps (a solid cap on the upstream side, a cap with an opening on the downstream side), connectors if you want to extend the line, a reservoir and a water pump. All these accessories are available in our shop, in formats compatible with the 10 × 8 cm gutter.
