Fish farming feed

Grow-out feed for fish raised in aquaponics: trout, salmonids and sturgeon.

-50% on a selection of fish food

Fish farming feed is designed for the grow-out phase of fish raised for the table, such as trout, salmon, charr and grayling. It contains more protein and fat than an ornamental feed, because it meets the needs of a fast-growing fish. Pellet size follows fish size: a pellet that is too large is not swallowed, and one that is too small is poorly used.

Salmonids need cool, well-oxygenated water to make full use of their ration: see Chillers & cooling fans and Air pumps. The article Salmoponics, cold-water aquaponics introduces this kind of fish farming.
