Fifteen years of research, experimentation, and trial and error have resulted in a system that 60 installations in France and Europe have already validated under real-world conditions. The idea is simple : bury the tanks to take advantage of the soil's natural thermal stability, minimize electrical equipment, and produce high-quality fish and vegetables in a small space. 💧 One engine to power everything
Energy efficiency is one of the great strengths of the T'Air-Eau system. A single Fujimac 40 air pump, consuming only 27w, less than a light bulb, is all that's needed to oxygenate the water and ensure its circulation between the two tanks via air-lifts. No water pump, no submerged mechanical parts, no fragile components to break down at the wrong time. The closed-loop system continuously recycles 90% of the water : fish waste nourishes the plants, the plants purify the water, and the water returns to the fish. A self-regulating ecosystem with an annual energy cost close to zero.
🐟 Real trout and real vegetables in your garden
Unlike decorative ponds, the T'Air-Eau kit is designed for food production. Rainbow trout, brook trout, or perch : the species produced are chosen for their hardiness and flavor, raised at low density for optimal animal welfare with four times fewer fish than in conventional fish farming. For vegetables, cultivation takes place on clay pebbles : lettuce, aromatic herbs, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, productive varieties adapted to this growing method. Results are expected from the second year : up to 50 kg of fish and regular vegetable production, without antibiotics, without mercury, without intermediaries.
