This packet contains three selected hardy lotus seeds, ready to be germinated at home. It's a unique opportunity to follow the growth of your lotus from seed, a rare occurrence for an aquatic plant.

🌿 Germination & Cultivation

Germinating lotus seeds is easy if you follow these steps :

  1. Scarify the rounded end of the seed (file lightly until you see the kernel, without damaging it).
  2. Place the scarified seeds in a bottle filled with clear water, in front of a very sunny window.
  3. Change the water regularly (room temperature) → Germination : 3 to 8 days.
  4. As soon as the first leaves appear, plant in a container (example : 20 L pot) in rich clay soil, with fertilizer, under about 15 cm of still water, in full sun.
