📏 Features & Dimensions

Nelumbo Ying Ying is a compact double yellow lotus, a hardy mini lotus reaching 20–40 cm in height depending on conditions, with round leaves 10–15 cm in diameter and a balanced habit, double bright yellow flowers that are striking and decorative, blooms from June to August.

Planted in 10–20 cm of water, ideal for mini ponds and decorative pots, requires full sun exposure, hardy and tolerant of low temperatures, distinguished by its luminous double flowers and perfect for aquaponics and small spaces.

🌿 Cultivation & Care

Plant Ying Ying in heavy, clay-rich substrate to ensure proper rhizome development. It thrives in full sun with a moderate water depth to encourage abundant flowering. In aquaponic systems, it benefits from the natural nutrients produced by fish and bacteria while remaining very easy to maintain.
