Fertiliser pack for coco fibre and pH control, 3 x 1 L
This pack contains the complete programme for a coco coir crop in 1 L bottles: a coco growth fertiliser NPK 4-0-5 rich in calcium, a coco bloom fertiliser NPK 1-6-4 and a nitrogen-free ripening fertiliser, with 250 g of pH- powder and a pH test kit with drops.
The two coco fertilisers are added together throughout the cycle, then FinalPart finishes the crop.
The summary
- In the parcel: coco growth and bloom fertiliser, FinalPart, each in 1 L, 250 g of pH- powder and a pH test.

- The programme: the two coco fertilisers together throughout the cycle, then FinalPart alone for 12 to 13 days.
- Pack or 500 ml kit: the pack doubles the fertilisers and adds the pH test, for four pots or more.
- Safety: the two coco fertilisers and the pH- should be handled with gloves and goggles.
- Dispatch: a single parcel of about 4.2 kg, shipped from France in the original packaging.
Coco fertiliser in 1 L, pH- and pH test for a season on coconut fibre
This pack brings together the fertiliser programme for a complete coco coir crop, in 1 litre bottles: a growth fertiliser, a flowering fertiliser and a nitrogen-free ripening fertiliser, together with 250 g of powdered pH- and a pH drop test. It is suitable if you grow several pots of coco coir, by drip feed, watering can or flood table, and want to last a whole season without restocking.
🥥 Coir and calcium
Coco fibre is not a neutral grow medium like clay pebbles: it binds part of the calcium and magnesium in the solution, which causes deficiencies on young leaves when the fertiliser does not allow for this. The two DualPart Coco fertilisers compensate for this effect. The growth bottle, with an NPK formula of 4-0-5, supplies 5% calcium, while the bloom bottle, with an NPK formula of 1-6-4, supplies magnesium and sulphur. You therefore have no need to add any extra calcium or magnesium alongside the programme.
Unlike a programme where each stage has its own bottle, you pour the two coco fertilisers in together throughout the whole cycle, each directly into the water, and only their proportion changes from one stage to the next. The growth bottle dominates while the plant is developing its leaves, then the ratio reverses when flowers appear, and the bloom bottle takes the larger share. The third bottle, FinalPart, replaces the other two during the last days of the crop.
Goggles and gloves for measuring out coco fertilisers
The coco growth fertiliser causes serious eye damage, and the bloom fertiliser causes severe eye irritation; both can intensify a fire, as they contain oxidising nitrates. Once dissolved, the powdered pH- forms an acidic solution that burns skin and eyes. Wear gloves and goggles while you measure out doses, always add the powder to the water and never the other way round, and store everything out of the reach of children.
First roots
You add 0.5 ml of each fertiliser per litre, for a conductivity of 0.3 to 0.6 mS.
Growth
The solution receives 2.5 ml of growth and 1 ml of bloom per litre, i.e. 1.3 to 1.8 mS.
Pre-flowering
The dose goes up to 3 ml of grow and 2 ml of bloom per litre, for 1.8 to 2.0 mS.
Flowering
The ratio reverses with 1.5 ml of growth and 3 ml of bloom per litre, for 1.4 to 2.2 mS.
Keeping the fibre clean between two phases
Coco fibre retains the fertiliser salts it receives, and for this reason the programme includes two 48-hour flushes, before and after the FinalPart phase. The flushing solution, added at 2 ml per litre to the water of these flushes, dissolves these deposits more completely than plain water. You therefore start the ripening phase on a medium cleared of the salts from flowering, and the conductivity you measure once again reflects the solution you are adding.
The adjustment is always done in the same order. You pour in the two coco fertilisers one after the other, mixing in between, then you measure the pH with the test supplied and correct it with the dissolved pH-down, in small amounts. Aim for 5.5 to 6.5 during growth, 6.4 to 6.8 in pre-flowering and flowering, then 5.5 to 6.5 again during ripening. The conductivity is checked last, once the pH has been corrected, and a conductivity meter then tells you whether the solution matches the range for the stage.
💧 Rinsing and maturing
The end of the crop follows a precise sequence. First you water for 48 hours with water free of fertiliser, with or without flushing solution added, then you switch to FinalPart alone, at 5 ml per litre for 12 to 13 days. Deprived of nitrogen, the plant draws on that held in its older leaves, which gradually yellow while the flowers and fruit finish ripening. A second 48-hour flush completes the cycle, and you harvest 2 days after the last feed.
📏 What the pack covers
Take four pots of tomatoes in coco fibre, watered by drip irrigation from a reservoir that supplies 30 litres of solution per week. Over 4 weeks of growth, you use 300 ml of growth fertiliser and 120 ml of bloom fertiliser. The 2 weeks of pre-flowering require 180 ml and 120 ml, then 6 weeks of flowering take 270 ml and 540 ml. The cycle therefore uses roughly 750 ml of growth and 780 ml of bloom, and the 12 to 13 days of ripening take 300 ml of FinalPart from your 1 litre bottle.
📦 The parcel and storage
The parcel contains the three 1-litre bottles, the pH- powder and the 30 ml reagent bottle with its chart, for a weight of approximately 4.2 kg. The fertilisers keep for 5 years after opening, stored upright, with the cap screwed on tightly and away from sunlight, and you should shake them before each use. The pH- should be kept dry and well sealed, and the reagent away from light. If your growing space expands, each fertiliser can be bought separately, such as the coco flowering fertiliser in 1 litre or in a 5-litre container, and the coco fibre in a 50-litre bag fills your pots for the following season.
