This liquid plant-based biostimulant, derived from Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed extract, supports your plants from pre-flowering through to fruit ripening, in soil, coco fibre, and hydroponics. It is dosed at 5 ml per litre, in addition to your flowering fertiliser.
Suitable for use in organic farming, it is sold under the label "Biostimulant fleurs et fruits".
The summary
- What you receive: a bottle of liquid biostimulant based on seaweed extract, labelled "Biostimulant fleurs et fruits".
- When to use it: from pre-flowering through to fruit ripening, up to the final flush.
- The dose: 5 ml per litre of nutrient solution or irrigation water, 3 ml per litre as a foliar spray.
- How to choose: it complements your organic bloom fertiliser without replacing it — add 5 ml per litre to the same water.
Seaweed-based biostimulant for flowering and fruiting, used alongside the fertiliser
Flowering is the stage at which a plant commits the most resources, as it forms its blooms, then its fruits and seeds. This liquid flowering stimulator does not replace the fertiliser that supplies the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium needed at this stage. It works alongside it, as a plant-based biostimulant derived from a cold-pressed extract of the brown seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum. Add it to your nutrient solution or watering water from the moment the first buds appear, right through to the final weeks before harvest.
🌸 What a seaweed extract provides
The seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum, which grows on the rocky coastlines of the North Atlantic, naturally contains complex sugars, amino acids, and trace elements, preserved through cold extraction. Used at low doses, these extracts support the plant's own processes rather than feeding it directly, which is why they are classified as biostimulants, regulated in France under decree no. 2016-532. The bottle therefore shows no nitrogen, phosphorus, or potassium content, and you continue using your usual bloom fertiliser at its standard dose.
💧 The dose and the period
The dose is 5 ml per litre of solution or irrigation water, 10 ml for 2 litres. Start at pre-flowering, when the first flower buds begin to form, then continue throughout flowering and fruit ripening at the same dosage. Stop applications at the final flush, which you carry out using the flushing solution in the days leading up to harvest. When applying as a foliar spray, reduce the dose to 3 ml per litre and limit use to the pre-flowering stage, as moisture on open flowers encourages mould. At 5 ml per litre, the 1-litre bottle prepares 200 litres of solution.
Combining the biostimulant with an organic bloom fertiliser
This biostimulant does not supply the nutrients the plant needs to form its fruit, and should therefore be used alongside a fertiliser. The organic flowering fertiliser NPK 2-3-4, also of plant origin, is dosed at 2 ml per litre in the same water. This keeps your entire crop suitable for organic farming, from pre-flowering through to harvest.
Do not combine two flowering stimulators
The growing programme calls for this biostimulant or its concentrated equivalent, but never both at the same time. Two flowering stimulators in the same solution add nothing extra and make electrical conductivity harder to manage. Adjust the pH to between 5.5 and 6.5 after adding all your products, then measure the conductivity last. Shake the bottle before each use, as the extract settles to the bottom.
With a mineral fertiliser
It is added to a mineral bloom fertiliser, in hydroponics or on coco coir, at 5 ml per litre, without changing the fertiliser dose.
With an organic fertiliser
In organic growing, it complements a liquid plant-based fertiliser in the same watering can, in soil and in bioponic systems alike.
As a foliar spray
At 3 ml per litre, it is sprayed onto the foliage during pre-flowering only, with a conductivity below 0.6 mS.
🍓 Suitable crops
It is suitable for all plants grown for their flowers or fruit. Tomatoes, peppers, chillies, aubergines, strawberries and cucumbers are the primary beneficiaries in the kitchen garden, as are flowering ornamental plants grown in pots. It can be used in soil, compost, coco fibre, hydroponics and bioponics, at the same dose. Leafy vegetables, harvested before they flower, have no need for it. For tomatoes, the application period begins with the first flower truss and continues for as long as fruit is setting.
📦 Sizes and storage
The product is available in 500 ml and 1 litre bottles, and in 5 and 10 litre containers. It is a dark brown liquid with a faintly sulphurous smell, fully soluble in water, with a pH of 4.9 before dilution. Its safety data sheet does not classify it as hazardous. It keeps for 2 years from the date of manufacture, stored in a cool, dry place in its sealed container, above 5 °C. To monitor your inputs, a drop pH test kit lets you check the solution after each addition.

Biostimulant or flowering fertiliser?
Both are used from pre-flowering through to ripening. The first supports flowering without feeding the plant, while the second supplies the nutrients needed for fruit development.
