FlashClean clears your grow of fertiliser residues. Over successive waterings, a portion of the fertiliser is not taken up by the plant and remains as mineral salts in the soil, coco fibre or hydroponic circuit. These deposits impede the roots, and the plant's ability to feed itself gradually deteriorates. FlashClean dissolves them, and a simple flush then carries them away.
Use it at three points: when you switch fertilisers, after an overdose, and during the last 2 days before harvest, in place of the fertiliser.
The summary
- What you receive: a bottle of FlashClean, sold under the label Grow Medium Regenerator, in the chosen size.
- What it does: cleans the grow medium of fertiliser residues, when switching fertilisers, after overdosing, or just before harvest.
- The dose: 1.5 to 3 ml per litre, applied no more than once every 2 weeks.
- What is sent to you: a sealed bottle, dispatched by tracked parcel from France.
Flushes fertiliser residues from the grow medium, in hydroponics, coco fibre and soil, right up to harvest
FlashClean is a cleaning solution for your crops. It removes fertiliser residues that build up over time through watering in a hydroponic system, in a grow medium such as coco fibre, or in the soil of a pot. The principle is straightforward: dilute the product in water at the correct pH, then water or circulate this water through the system, carrying the deposits away with it. You are left with a clean grow medium on which your usual fertiliser can once again work to its full effect.
🧂 Why clean a grow medium
A plant never takes up all of the fertiliser you give it. The surplus is deposited as mineral salts on the grow medium, inside the pipes, and around the roots, and the build-up increases with every watering. The more concentrated these salts become around the roots, the harder it is for the plant to absorb water and nutrients, even when your dosing is correct. Several signs should put you on alert: a white crust on the surface of the grow medium or around the rim of the pots, leaf tips turning brown, or growth slowing for no obvious reason. The citric acid in FlashClean breaks the bonds holding these salts to the grow medium, and the following watering flushes them away.
✅ Three occasions to use it
The product is primarily used to reset the grow medium when switching fertilisers or after an overdose. It also replaces the pre-harvest flush practised by many growers: during the final days of a crop, they stop all fertilisers and water only with plain water, allowing the plant to draw on its own reserves. This water flush typically takes 10 days, whereas FlashClean dosed at 3 ml per litre achieves the same result in just 2 days.
When changing fertiliser
You remove the residue of the previous formula before starting a new one, such as a flowering fertiliser.
After overdosing
You drain, run FlashClean through the system for 24 hours, then start again with a fresh nutrient solution.
Before harvest
During the last 2 days, water with 3 ml per litre instead of fertiliser, without waiting for 10 days of plain water.
pH-adjusted water to dilute FlashClean
FlashClean is diluted in water whose pH you have already adjusted; if you skip this step, the rinse will upset the very environment it is meant to clean. The pH test drops give you the value in a minute, and the pH- corrector brings it back into the 5.5–6.5 range for soilless cultivation. This way, every rinse is prepared under the same conditions as your nutrient solution.
One application every 2 weeks, no more
FlashClean can be used at all stages of growth and flowering, but never more than once every 15 days. Start with the lowest dose on cuttings or seedlings. Shake the bottle before use and store it between 5 and 30 °C, away from frost.
💧 Instructions according to your growing method
The dosage ranges from 1.5 to 3 ml per litre: the lower end for seedlings, cuttings, and delicate plants, the higher end for mature plants. In hydroponics, pour FlashClean into the reservoir, allow the system to run for 24 hours, then drain before preparing a fresh nutrient solution. The reservoir does not need to be full, there simply needs to be enough water to run the pump: for 20 litres, allow 30 to 60 ml of product. In soil and coco fibre, water with the solution until it runs freely from the base of the pot, then resume your fertiliser from the next watering onwards. In aquaponics, the product should never enter the fish circuit, and should be reserved for washing clay pebbles outside the system.
