This liquid mineral fertiliser with an NPK 3-1-6 formula supports the growth phase: stems, foliage, and root system. The first part of the TriPart system, it is dosed alongside the Micro and the Bloom, in hydroponics, coco fibre, and soil, from the 500 ml bottle to the 60 L container.
The summary
- What it is: the Grow of the TriPart system, formerly FloraGro, a liquid mineral NPK 3-1-6 fertiliser that carries the growth phase.
- How to use it: never on its own. It is dosed together with TriPart Micro and TriPart Bloom, and you vary the proportions according to the plant's stage.
- How much to add: 1.8 ml per litre in full hydroponic growth, 1.5 ml per litre in soil. The calculator converts the amounts for your reservoir.
- Where to use it: hydroponics, coco fibre, soil, and decoupled or fish-free aquaponics. On a stocked pond, the Aquaponic Mix is better suited.
- The deficiency it corrects: lower leaves yellow right up to the veins, thin stems, elongated internodes. This is the classic picture of nitrogen deficiency.
- Sizes and dispatch: 500 ml, 1 L, 5 L, 10 L or 60 L, shipped from France.
The nitrogen element of the TriPart trio, the one that drives the growth phase
TriPart Grow is the growth fertiliser in the TriPart system, a liquid mineral fertiliser with an NPK 3-1-6 formula, suitable for use in hydroponics, coco fibre, and soil. It delivers nitrogen, potassium, and magnesium. It is the former FloraGro, manufactured in Fleurance, in the Gers, and the name change did not alter the formula.
The imbalance in the formula is deliberate. Phosphorus is almost absent and comes from the Bloom, while iron and calcium are absent and come from the Micro. Poured on its own into your reservoir, the Grow gives an incomplete solution, on which deficiencies appear within a few weeks. The beginner's guide to indoor hydroponics explains how to prepare a first reservoir.
🌿 The three-part principle
A single-part fertiliser fits in one bottle and applies the same compromise from seedling to harvest, with too much nitrogen when the plant is filling out its fruit and not enough when it is building leaves. With three parts, you change the proportions instead of changing product. The drawback is obvious straight away: you need to measure out three products instead of one, rinse the doser three times, and the three bottles do not run down at the same rate. The TriPart Starter Kit brings all three together in 500 ml so you can try the system, and the doses in the application table show how the proportions change from one stage to the next.
In growth
Grow leads at 1.8 ml per litre, with 1.2 ml of Micro and 0.6 ml of Bloom. The target conductivity ranges from 1.3 to 1.8 mS.
In pre-flowering
All three converge around 1.5 to 2 ml per litre. The target pH shifts from 5.5–6.5 to around 6.4–6.8.
In flowering
Grow drops back to 0.8 ml per litre while Bloom reaches 2.4 and Micro 1.6. The target conductivity runs from 1.4 to 2.2 mS.
The two containers that come with it
Grow is never used on its own, as it needs TriPart Micro, in the version that suits your water, and TriPart Bloom. The price per litre drops noticeably from the 5 L size, which matters for a setup that runs all year round.
Never mix two concentrates together
Add each part separately to the water, mix, and rinse the measuring cup before moving on to the next. Pouring the Micro directly into the Bloom, or reusing an unrinsed measuring cup, makes salts precipitate and become unavailable to the plants. The solution will look normal, and part of what you have poured in will stay at the bottom of the reservoir without ever reaching your plants.
In soil, the application chart has its own column, markedly lower in the early stages. Grow goes from 0.5 to 0.2 ml per litre at first roots, which is 60% less, and from 1 to 0.6 ml at the first true leaves. The gap then narrows, with 1.5 ml instead of 1.8 in full growth, for a conductivity of 1.1 to 1.6 mS. For a 10-litre watering can in full growth, you therefore add 15 ml of Grow, 10 ml of Micro and 5 ml of Bloom.
💧 The order of preparation
The order matters as much as the doses, and it never changes. Start with a reservoir filled with water, add the Micro first and mix, then the Grow and mix again, then the Bloom. Only then do you correct the pH, never before, since every addition changes it. The Micro goes first because it supplies the calcium, and calcium added to water already loaded with sulphates and phosphates precipitates immediately. Conductivity is raised last, once the pH has been corrected.
📦 Sizes and storage
Choose the size according to your consumption over a full season, since an opened container keeps for 5 years after opening, which leaves time to use up a 5, 10 or 60 L container over several crops. Close the container straight after taking what you need and keep it away from frost. A deposit or crystallisation at the bottom of a container stored in the cold will go back into solution with agitation, and the product is not lost.

How much TriPart Grow for your reservoir
Enter the volume of water in your tank. The calculation applies the full-growth dose for hydroponics and coco fibre, 1.8 ml per litre, as shown in the manufacturer's feeding chart.
of TriPart Grow, full growth-stage dosage in hydroponics and on coco fibre
This dose is the one for the full growth stage. At the first roots, the dose in the table drops to 0.5 ml per litre, and at flowering the Grow dose goes back to 0.8 ml per litre while the Bloom dose increases. Grow never makes up a solution on its own: the same table prescribes Micro and Bloom at every stage. Always check the conductivity you obtain, which also depends on your starting water.
